  • If something isn't right, here is how we handle returns:

    1. Standard Returns

    If you change your mind or no longer require a part/accessory, you can return it within 14 days of purchase.

    • Shipping Costs: For standard returns, the customer is responsible for all return shipping charges.

    • Condition: Items must be returned in their original packaging and in the same condition as when they were received.

    2. Faulty Items & Warranty Repairs

    If a part we supplied or a repair we performed is found to be faulty:

    • Initial Cost: The customer is responsible for the initial cost of returning the item to us.

    • Reimbursement: Once our technicians have inspected the item and confirmed a genuine hardware fault, we will reimburse your return shipping costs in full.

    • Requirement: To claim a shipping reimbursement, a valid postage receipt must be provided.

    3. Exclusions

    Please note that our policy does not cover:

    • Accidental damage, liquid spills, or issues caused by software/viruses after the device has left our shop.

    • Items returned without an original Steel City IT receipt or proof of purchase.

    • Damage caused by attempted DIY repairs or third-party tampering.
